Special effect sleeve Skinsleever is an interesting proposal by Sleever International (Paris), the result of four years of research and featuring a surprising tactile effect. Touching the Skinsleever is like touching fine animal skin (lizard, python, ostridge, etc.), purposed in a palette of different colours. The solution is based on a new generation of elastomer based mono-oriented film developed by Sleever Technologies. The 3D relief is fruit of Sleever Labels research, that has led to a special helio-engraving 8-9 colour print technique, and an accurate positioning to reproduce the skin effect. The implementation on Powersleeve Evolution 3 and use of infrared heatshrink machine Powerskinner make production speeds of between 300 and 90 bott./min possible.
